Two extraordinary pieces begin our season. An early masterpiece from Beethoven, his Septet was the model for much of the chamber music of the Nineteenth Century, and his single most popular composition during his lifetime. The Ballet de Cour is a charming romantic gem from Gabriel Pierné. A classic French ballet in six movements, it is choreographed by Deanna Ross and danced by the Monterey Dance Collective. Be sure to see this wonderful piece come to life on stage for the first time ever in the Monterey Bay area.
